Home of 'The Sunset Vibes'

For over a year, I hosted my own weekly show at Radio972.com. Following several appearances in the Radio972 Club Night, we discussed the idea of doing a show earlier on the day, with accordingly a bit more relaxed and chilled music. We decided to name the show ‘the Sunset Vibes’ referring to the time of the day where you finish your afternoon on a sunny beach, get your first cocktail, chill with your friends, enjoy some food and start preparing for the evening party. And of course, that ‘golden hour’ needs matching relaxed tropical music. Tropical because it is inspired by my residency in the Dutch Caribbean. Tropical because that is to me a good umbrella to cover my favorite music styles, being afro, soulful and vocal deep house. I will rotate between these 3 styles, but the common theme is high quality music, with a lot of real instruments, vocals and meaningful lyrics. Feel good music, without the heavy EDM drops.
